Biography:1958: Born in Corrydonlon, Rathowen, Co. Westmeath1970: I began writing detective/adventure stories for my own amusement. Over the following six and a half years, I wrote over 100 stories.1977: Made my acting debut in a production of \u2018Drama At Inish\u2019 at St. Patrick\u2019s College, Maynooth1980: Joined Rathowen Amateur Dramatic Society (RADS)1981: Had my first comedy sketch,\u2019Father of the Bride\u2019 performed in a variety concert in Rathowen.1985-86: Wrote sketches and one-liners for the RTE variety series, \u2018Davis At Large\u20191997: First one-act play, \u2018Looking For Love\u2019 performed in the Bog Lane Theatre, Ballymahon2000: First three-act play \u2018The Maiden Aunt\u2019 premiered in Killala, Co. Mayo2000-2018: I have written 21 three-act comedies.2018:\u2019Mammy\u2019s Boy\u2019 was staged in Chicago by the Gaelic Park Players and was also staged at the Acting Irish International Theatre Festival in Calgary, Canada.My last three-act comedy, \u2018A Fish Out Of Water\u2019 was premiered in Mallow, Co. Cork by On Q Productions in November 2018. It was one of 40 productions of my plays on stage last year.I have just written a new three-act comedy \u2013 my 22nd \u2013 which is called \u2018For Love And Money\u2019.
