Shaundel Leamon\xa0lives in Montreal but is\xa0a proud Newfoundlander with Irish, Welsh, and Mi'kmaq First Nations ancestry. Shaundal is a 27-year-old graduate from Memorial University with a Bachelors of Arts Honours in French\xa0and Linguistics, and is presently an Administrative Assistant\xa0for Deloitte's\xa0Linguistic Services Team.\xa0After graduating, Shaundel spent time working in France as an historical tour guide on Canadian First World War battlefields\xa0and\xa0also taught English at the University of Bordeaux. A dream ambition of hers would be to one day open a bar in the south of France with her fianc\xe9 - a man from Connemara - and continue to teach English at the same time. She is a\xa0qualified referee of all four codes (LGFA, Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie) and currently plays both\xa0football and\xa0hurling\xa0with her sponsor, the Montreal Shamrocks GAC. Shaundel\u2019s maternal ancestors were Callahans who\xa0came from Co. Waterford to Newfoundland in the early nineteenth century.
