The University of Iowa School of Journalism and Mass Communication presents a community discussion with New York Times reporter Nikole Hannah-Jones. Panelists also include Kingsley Botchway, Director of Equity and Engagement at the Iowa City Community School District, and Leslie Locke, Assistant Professor in the University of Iowa College of Education.

Nikole Hannah-Jones is an investigative journalist chronicling the demise of racial integration efforts and persistence of segregation in American society, particularly in education. In 2017, she won a MacArthur Genius Grant. Her work can be found at nikolehannahjones.com.
