University students often view college as a means to an end: earn a degree to get a job. But shouldn't it be more? The University of Iowa's Life Design course, led by adjunct lecturer David L. Gould, examines how interests and talents can be paired up to achieve a fulfilling life.
The course draws upon the work of well-known psychologists, motivational speakers, and sociologists. This program features a presentation by Chase Garrett, boogie woogie musician, and Tara Fall, author and educator.
Presented by the Obermann Center for Advanced Studies.
