The scriptures talk about bondage and captivity. Bondage and captivity aren't necessarily just external. Bondage and captivity in the mind.\xa0
\u201cDear God, Thank you for this new day, its beauty and its light. Thank You for my chance to begin again. Free me from the limitations of yesterday. Today may I be reborn. May I become more fully a reflection of Your radiance. Give me strength and compassion and courage and wisdom. Show me the light in myself and others. May I recognize the good that is available everywhere.\u201d Marianne Williamson .\xa0
Acts 8: 23 says 23 "For I perceive that thou art in the\xa0agall of bitterness, and\xa0in\xa0the\xa0bbond of iniquity."
Moses 4: 4 And he became\xa0aSatan, yea, even the\xa0bdevil, the father of all\xa0clies, to\xa0ddeceive\xa0and to blind men, and to lead them\xa0ecaptive\xa0at his will, even as many as would not\xa0fhearken unto my voice.
What a hardened heart has to do with a blind mind."he that will cnot\xa0harden his heart, to him is\xa0dgiven the greater portion of the word, until it is given unto him to know the mysteries of God until he know them in full.
And they that will harden their hearts, to them is given the lesser\xa0aportion\xa0of the word until they\xa0bknow nothing\xa0concerning his mysteries; and then they are taken captive by the devil, and led by his will down to destruction. Now this is what is meant by the\xa0cchains\xa0of\xa0dhell.
Alma 12: 14\xa014\xa0For our\xa0awords\xa0will condemn us, yea, all our works will condemn us; we shall not be found spotless; and our thoughts will also condemn us; and in this awful state we shall not dare to look up to our God; and we would fain be glad if we could command the rocks and the\xa0bmountains\xa0to fall upon us to\xa0chide us from his presence.
