UX Design Hello, this is Hall T. Martin with the Startup Funding Espresso -- your daily shot of startup funding and investing. UX design provides the experience the user encounters when using a product. This is different from the user interface which is simply how the information is rendered to the user. The UI consists of the typography, color palettes, and navigation. The UX is the customer journey with the product. It consists of the experience strategy which meets the needs of the user and the company. The interaction design is how the user interacts with the product. This comes from user research which identifies what the user must accomplish and what tools are required. It rests on an information architecture which structures the information for the work to be done. Good UX design achieves the following benefits: Anyone can use the product. It is simple and intuitive to use. It provides useful information to the user at the right time. It can handle user mistakes and recover from errors. It is easy to follow. Products with good UX outsell products with poor UX as users have little patience for hard to use products.\xa0 Ensure UX design is part of your product management duties. \xa0 Thank you for joining us for the Startup Funding Espresso where we help startups and investors connect for funding.
