In this episode, Hall welcomes Brendan Manley, Co-Founder of iCAMP. iCAMP is a STEAM (approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking) program that focuses on transforming students from consumers to creators. Since launching in 2018, they have had thousands of students between the ages of 5-13 attend their programs both in-person and online. They leverage project-based learning to ensure students have fun and remain thoroughly engaged, while completing tasks and activities designed to build proficiency in the technologies that are posed to transform society. Brendan\u2019s background is in software development. He holds a BA in Philosophy, Marketing and Creative Writing from the University of Miami and he also attended the Flatiron School, which is a coding bootcamp with software engineering, data science, and cybersecurity courses, offered both online and on-campus.
