Polina Barskaya\xa0(b. 1984, Cherkassy, USSR) received a MFA from\xa0Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY and a BA from\xa0Hunter\xa0College, NY. Barskaya received an Artist Fellowship in Painting from\xa0New York Foundation of\xa0the Arts\xa0(NYFA) in 2021,\xa0and an\xa0Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant\xa0in 2023, 2022 and 2020.\n\nRecent exhibitions include\xa0Taymour Grahne\xa0Projects, London;\xa0Althuis Hofland Fine Arts,\xa0Amsterdam;\xa0DC Moore\xa0Gallery, NY;\xa0Marianne Boesky Gallery, NY; and\xa0Monya Rowe Gallery, NY. Her work has been featured in\xa0Artforum,\xa0Artnet, The Brooklyn Rail,\xa0New York Magazine (\u201cThe\xa0Best New York Art Shows of 2021\u201d) and\xa0Hyperallergic, among others. The artist lives and works in Brighton Beach,\xa0Brooklyn, NY and Citta Della Pieve, Italy.
