Published: Jan. 7, 2020, 8 a.m.

Today, we continue the conversation with a Champion. Hitting her first squash ball at the age of 2.5, Liz Irving’s destiny seemed assured with a Squash World #2 Mother and competitive playing Father forming her DNA – but is it a genetic pre-disposition or is it more about the environment she was raised in? Rising to World #2 herself and inducted into the Australian Sports Hall of Fame in 2011, she also went on to coach Malaysian legend Nicol David from 2003 to the present which has included 9yrs consecutive as World #1!

Currently residing in Amsterdam, where she runs her successful Liz Irving Elite Squash Academy, she has somehow found time to develop an innovative and comprehensive app called The Squash Lab.

This woman has that Midas Touch and somehow does it all with a humility and grace that allows her to continue creating new and expansive business ventures.

Thanks Liz for speaking to our community amidst any jet lag you may be experiencing as you’ve only just flown in from Amsterdam…
