\n\n"Barbara Ann Mojica received her Bachelor of Arts (Hunter College) and Master of Arts Degrees (Queens College) in History. She also holds graduate certifications in school supervision and administration.
\n\nBarbara has been a life long educator in the fields of early childhood and special education, having spent many years as a teacher, principal, and school district administrator. Retirement has brought with it the opportunity to return to her love of history.
\n\n\u200bShe wrote \u201cForest Park, Queens, Past, Present and Future\u201d for\xa0The Municipal Engineers Journal in 2001. Barbara currently writes historical articles under her banner \u201cPassages\u201d for\xa0The Columbia Insider, and is writing her own award-winning children\u2019s book series Little Miss HISTORY Travels to.
\n\nShe is also the proud mother of two children and six grandchildren. Barbara resides in the Hudson Valley Region with her husband."
