Robert Hasler of Ministry to State
Facebook has created a "Metaverse" which they say will create "a new phase of interconnected virtual experiences" for it's users. Ian brings Minister Robert Hasler on the show to talk about the impacts of striving for so much digital connection. Are we willfully disconnecting ourselves from reality? What are the long-term implications of this kind of vision? Ian and Robert discuss.

Robert is actively engaged with Ministry to State’s work on Capitol Hill, especially with the junior staff and interns. Some of Robert’s work with MTS includes leading Bible studies, serving as the communications director, assisting the Executive Director, and even co-hosting a podcast, The Will & Rob Show.
Robert is from Southlake, TX and graduated from Hillsdale College in 2015. Prior to working for Ministry to State, he worked at his alma mater directing their undergraduate programs and alumni relations. He and his wife (Kirsten) and son (James) live in Woodbridge, VA. Robert is also pursuing his M.Div. through Covenant Theological Seminary.
