Children may be stranded inside due to inclement weather. For both children and parents, being cooped up inside can be frustrating. Because of their limited play alternatives, youngsters frequently spend more time watching TV or using iPads than they would otherwise. However, rainy day activities don't have to be a drag! When kids complain about being bored, there are a variety of rainy-day activities and games they may attempt instead of turning to their screens. Various rainy day games may keep youngsters active and entertained, ranging from simple crafts to fun learning activities.

1. Jar of Boredom: One resourceful parent shared with us how she developed a "boredom" jar for her home. She makes scraps of paper and writes a different kid's activity on each one. "Create paper boats," "make friendship bracelets," "play a ball toss game," and other crafts and games are among the recommendations on each piece. Instead of watching TV when her kids complain about being bored, she lets them pick three papers from the boredom jar and perform an activity. It's a fantastic method to gather and organise rainy-day activities!

2. Make a Fort: On a rainy day, who doesn't enjoy a fort? It's a fun indoor sport that also allows kids to strengthen their motor skills. Gather blankets, pillows, cardboard boxes, and chairs with your child. Create a pillow fort for them to climb inside. Make it a party by bringing a flashlight and some plush animals. Take your board games and puzzles inside and have a fun evening.
