Emotions As The Driver

Morning Mantra: "Thoughts lead to feelings, feelings lead to behavior, behavior leads to results."

When you think you want something, what you really desire is the emotion you have attached to it.  That emotion will drive your behavior and you will either do what is needed, or you won't do anything.

For example, if you think you want a new relationship, it's the emotion of love you desire.  If the feeling of love brings good memories, you will seek a partner through your actions, you will do what needs to be done.  If the thought of love brings pain, you will behave in a way that will avoid love, or you won't do anything at all (inaction).

You can apply this to anything you want or desire.  So think of the emotion as the real driver of your actions.
