Be Ready to Forgive

Morning Mantra: "Anger is a punishment we give to ourselves for something someone else did." Most of the time when we are angry we express it when we are away from the person that hurt us. We vent to others, we cry alone, we ruin OUR day.  Forgive, and you can begin to move away from the pain. Forgive, and you can move forward with a much lighter load.

Forgiveness does not mean that you allow others to take advantage of you, or that you approve of what they did. On the contrary, forgiveness gives you positive power no matter what others may have done.

Anger and spite can eat away at life until there’s almost nothing of value left. Forgive, and free yourself from the grips of the pain of anger.
