Kimberley Drake escaped extreme domestic violence with her now 4 year old daughter. She joined me in studio to share her story for the first time. Must listen.

Published: Nov. 11, 2023, 2 p.m.

At a young age, Kim found herself trapped in a cycle of extremely toxic relationships, until she got locked into the most abusive relationship of all.

As the abuse got worse, the reasons to escape piled up.

"His abuse came to a point where he put our daughter in danger. I fled to Saskatchewan with my daughter but without permission to take her, I was court ordered back."

Join us for this National Domestic Violence Awareness Month special as I talk with Kim about what happened, and to what ends she went to finally be free from the madness.

"I’m happy to say that after 2 years of living in BC, my daughter and I were granted relocation to SK and we just celebrated our second year in Saskatoon. I still have a long way to go in healing, but I am a much stronger woman and mother."

We are honored to have Kim step forward to share her story publicly for the first time here in studio on the Hard Knox Talks Podcast.

Buckle up.
