Carol Quillen is my guest on this episode. She\u2019s the\npresident of Davidson College, my alma mater, and she is also a historian by\ntraining. She received her PhD in history from Princeton University. In 2018,\nPrinceton awarded her the James Madison Medal, given in recognition of a\ndistinguished career.
