The Sparrow, the Dove,\nThe Linnet and Thrush say, \u201cI love and I love!\u201d\nIn the winter they\u2019re silent\u2014the wind is so strong;\nWhat it says, I don\u2019t know, but it sings a loud song.\nBut green leaves, and blossoms, and sunny warm weather,\nAnd singing, and loving\u2014all come back together.\nBut the Lark is so brimful of gladness and love,\nThe green fields below him, the blue sky above,\nThat he sings, and he sings; and for ever sings he\u2014\n\u201cI love my Love, and my Love loves me!\u201d
