Here's the deal: the 1990's is the greatest decade American cinema has ever seen. 1994 alone gave us Pulp Fiction, The Shawshank Redemption, Clerks, Speed, and True Lies. Even the bad movies are good--the 90s gave us Striptease AND Showgirls. And those are just the white movies. We talk to Ashley Clark, film programmer at BAM, where the Black 90's film series is currently under way. And then, move over Shakespeare, there's a new dead guy in town.
