The Christmas story is beautiful. And yet, when you look under the hood a bit more, it also is full of elements, people, situations, locations and circumstances marked with disgrace. Maybe we can relate. Maybe we’ve felt - or feel - disgraced in life. We’ll learn the elements of disgrace that are present in the Christmas story and how God chooses to meet us in our disgrace. How? Because Jesus knew all too well what disgrace felt like. The Gospel is Jesus moving to re-grace us who have been dis-graced.
