\u201cEveryone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice,\u201d Jesus said. And Pilate asked Jesus, in a line that is omitted from today\u2019s reading: \u201cWhat is truth?\u201d The Greek word for truth literally means, \u201cRemember not to forget.\u201d
