Nagesh Goel is President and Co-Founder at Atlas Evaluation & Inspection Services (AEIS), a premier infrastructure inspection and testing company based in South Plainfield, NJ providing innovative solutions to the building industries since 2008.
A mechanical engineer with over 25 years of experience managing complex projects, with a specialization in nondestructive testing and metallurgical failure analysis, Nagesh has significant experience in the areas of inspection, testing, research and failure analysis of static- and dynamic-loaded steel structures, as well as pressure vessels and piping, tanks and mechanical systems. He started his career in 1993 as a surveyor, where he managed inspection and materials projects, including the review of design documentation and third-party inspection of materials and equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, valve castings, flanges, pipes and fittings. Nagesh later worked at Engineers India Ltd. as a welding and non-destructive evaluation engineer; and at QualiQuest Industrial Services as an Inspection Specialist, where he was responsible for review of design documents followed by surveillance of hydraulic pumps, pressure vessels, valves to ASME/API codes and project specifications. He also worked at SGS India Ltd where he performed surveillance inspections.
With this wealth of experience, Nagesh and his wife Puja founded Atlas Evaluation & Inspection Services (AEIS) in 2008 in their New York living room. The company was founded with the vision of providing technical excellence and top-quality results facilitated by well-trained, diverse staff. With certified Minority, Women-Owned, Small, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Certifications, AEIS can assist large project owners with meeting project diversity goals.
