159 - Tarrare, The Man Who Ate Anything

Published: Nov. 7, 2018, 2 a.m.

In France in the 18th Century there was a man known as Tarrare\u2026 and boy could he eat. By the age of seventeen he could eat his own weight in beef. An insatiable hunger led him to become a travelling performer, eating everything from snakes to stones to golden forks. A very funny but sometimes gross story, probably don\u2019t listen to this one whilst eating.
