I realized how wrong it is that I have two regional mixes representing Bay Area's hyphy movement- 'hot.block (03.02.06) and Git Stupid Dumb (10.16.06)- before I recognize DC's own local Go-Go scene. How wrong I am!\n\nAs you work your way through this mix you'll be moving back in time; I kick it off with some classic DJ Kool and conclude with Chuck Brown, the acclaimed Godfather of Go-Go. My intention is for this mix to stand on its own, but to also serve as the first half of my funk revival series.
