The Dementia Researcher, ISTAART Relay Podcast is back for a fourth series. Five leading researchers discussing their research, their field, and the work of the Alzheimer\u2019s Association ISTAART Professional Interest Area they represent.\n--\n\nPart Two \u2013 Dr Maura Malpetti interviews Beth Eyre, representing the Vascular Cognitive Disorders PIA.\n--\n\nMaura Malpetti is a Race Against Dementia Fellow at University of Cambridge. Maura focusses on multimodal imaging techniques (multi-tracer PET and MRI) integrated with fluid markers, post-mortem validation, and prognostic modelling approaches in frontotemporal lobar degeneration. Maura is representing the ISTAART Frontotemporal Dementia PIA.\n--\n\nBeth Eyre is a PhD Student (although she recently submitted her thesis and will be defending very soon) at The University of Sheffield. Beth is investigating cognitive and neurovascular function in pre-clinical models of Alzheimer\u2019s disease and in a mixed model of Alzheimer\u2019s and atherosclerosis. Beth is representing the ISTAART Vascular Cognitive Disorders PIA.\n--\n\nThe Alzheimer\u2019s Association International Society to Advance Alzheimer\u2019s Research and Treatment (ISTAART) convenes the global Alzheimer\u2019s and dementia science community. Members share knowledge, fuel collaboration and advance research to find more effective ways to detect, treat and prevent Alzheimer\u2019s and other dementias.
