Chatham County is home to a perfectly round dirt circle, which no plant is capable of growing in. People have tried both growing from seeds and transplanting, but every time the plants wither. The reason for this is said to be Satan himself. He stalks around the circle at night, his heated hooves pounding any vegetation into the soil, and scorching the earth to make sure nothing will grow.
