In this interview I have the pleasure of speaking with Diana E Patterson @dianaepatterson.\\nDiana, initially worked as a Student Nurse and progressed to Ward Sister as well as being an Examiner for the General Nursing Council. Diana eventually swapped what she calls \\u201cpsychic wages for the highly paid legal profession\\u201d.\\nHowever, what Diana sought was \\u201cFinancial Freedom\\u201d so she made the huge switch to investing. Diana has more than 30 years of investing knowledge and describes her methodology as \\u201cbuying counter-intuitively into Bear markets\\u201d. The Sunday Times \\u201cRich List\\u201d has numerous individuals (from old and new money) who have accumulated their wealth through investments in property. Few however were investing in FTSE listed House Builders at their nadir during the 2007-2008 Financial Crisis. Fewer still gained their financial freedom by investing in the Construction Sector when those stocks were \\u201cpenny stocks\\u201d and were yielding more than 12%. Many of Diana\\u2019s investments went onto increase in value more than 1000% and interestingly, today\\nDiana still has some of those stocks in her long-term portfolio.
