By all accounts, GameStop is a dying business.  Yet, its stock is up over 200% year-to-date.  What exactly happened?  Wall Street Bets happened.  This subreddit has caused absolute havoc on the market over the past year or so.  This begs the question: is it safe for this community to have so much power over financial markets (and will the SEC ever step in)?
