Classical Fix is a podcast aimed at opening up the world of classical music to anyone who fancies giving it a go. Jules Buckley is a Grammy-winning conductor, arranger and composer who pushes the boundaries of almost all musical genres by placing them in an orchestral context, and has earned himself a reputation as a 'pioneering genre alchemist' and 'agitator of musical convention'. He leads two of the world\u2019s most versatile and in-demand orchestras - the Heritage Orchestra and the Metropole Orkest - and over the past nine years he has been responsible for some of the most groundbreaking BBC Proms, including the Ibiza Prom, 1Xtra's Grime Symphony, The Songs of Scott Walker, Jacob Collier and Friends, and tributes to Quincy Jones, Nina Simone and Charles Mingus. In 2019, Jules joined the BBC Symphony Orchestra as Creative Artist in Association.
