Joy Harjo
Joy Harjo is a performer and writer of the Muskogee Creek Nation. She\u2019s currently serving her second term as United States Poet Laureate.\xa0 Much of Harjo\u2019s poetry incorporates indigenous myths.\xa0 She also addresses social justice and feminism.\xa0 Her newest book is a memoir, \u201cPoet Warrior\u201d.\xa0 On August 16, 2021, Joy Harjo talked with Steven Winn about her work.
