\nChart-topping rock band\xa0STRYPER\xa0has announced the upcoming release of their 12th studio album,\xa0\xa0When We Were Kings, out\xa0September 13th!\xa0\xa0The new album drops just as the band embarks on their\xa040th Anniversary Tour\xa0this fall.\xa0
\nEarlier this year, STRYPER released their first acoustic album, featuring stripped-down versions of their classic hits and a new rendition of "Amazing Grace.\u201d\xa0The band\xa0is also working on a Kickstarter-funded documentary film directed by\xa0Chris Atkins, to be released in 2025.\xa0
\nWith over 10 million albums sold worldwide, STRYPER is renowned for its distinctive brand of \u201cheavenly metal\u201d and extraordinary crossover success. The group ascended to prominence in the 1980s with Billboard Top 40 hits like \u201cCalling on You,\u201d \u201cHonestly,\u201d and \u201cAlways There for You,\u201d and has maintained a global fanbase ever since.
