On today's episode, we chat with two time guest, Michael W. Smith! Multi-Platinum artist, best-selling author and acclaimed actor Michael W. Smith continues to live out his dream; he releases new music regularly and performs around the world to sold-out crowds of loyal and inspired fans. During Michael\u2019s storied career, he\u2019s not only been honored with three Grammy Awards, 45 Dove Awards, an American Music Award and has sold more than 15 million albums, he\u2019s also given back to the global community. Michael has raised funds to battle AIDS in Africa alongside longtime friend Bono, started\xa0Rocketown, a safe haven for young people in Tennessee to meet and find hope, and has helped more than 70,000 children\u2019s lives through\xa0Compassion International. The five-song worship EP features four classics including \u201cIn Christ Alone\u201d and \u201cAgnus Dei\u201d\xa0 and also features a brand new song, \u201cCrimson Dust\u201d, which Smith wrote alongside Tony Wood.\n\xa0\nOn the new song, Smith says, \u201cCrimson Dust, which I wrote with Tony Wood, sets the scene of the day of Christ\u2019s sacrifice on the cross. My prayer is that it reminds us how heaven touched earth and changed history that day. I love the thought of people around the world singing together \u2018Holy, Holy, Holy, Jesus Lamb of God.\u2019\u201d\n\xa0\nThe first four tracks were captured live with the Nashville Recording Orchestra and a choir at the beautiful Fisher Center at Belmont University.
