What the lunar mission says about China?

At 1:59 on December 17, the lunar exploration project Chang'e-5 returner successfully landed in the planned area of ??Inner Mongolia, marking the successful completion of China’s first extraterrestrial celestial body sampling and return mission. This is also the first time human beings have brought back lunar soil in 44 years.

As usual, the mission has received lots of attention worldwide. Research institutions, media and netizens in various countries have expressed different opinions.

I think there are important things that this lunar mission says about China. The mission proves that the Chinese nation does what it says.

Another lesson I draw is that as the international "space race" is becoming increasingly fierce, it is down to a competition of institutional and cultural advantages.

China Explained will show you that because of China’s continued success in industrial upgrading, technological innovation and realizing its huge potential, it is an unstoppable process. The inevitable rise of China may feel intimidating and some simply reject it. Don’t be. China’s rise is part of the new global trend unlike what we have seen in the past one hundred years. Embrace the change and seize the opportunity.
