Lost elephants in China becomes international sensation

Published: June 16, 2021, 4 a.m.

In the past few weeks, a group of Asian elephants "ran away from home" from a Nature Reserve in Southwest China, and the elephants traveled more than 500 kilometers north. For them, taking a walk, entering a village, taking a break, or taking a bath in a pond or drinking a drink at a villager’s house can easily catch the attention of millions of humans.

In order to keep up with the elephants, many western media rushed to the scene.
For example, the New York Times observed that since the elephant group has left the reserve, it has set foot on the narrow county streets and passed by the closed car dealership, broke into a grain warehouse, and occasionally ran into a few local government workers and swallowed up the corn and sugar cane they unloaded from the truck.

I set up and operate this channel alone, hoping to share the real China with the world as well as clarify misconceptions and lies against China.

The continued development of China is the biggest game-changer in this century that affects all aspects of everyone’s lives. Embrace the change and seize the opportunity.
