America sends unused vaccines to India

Published: May 3, 2021, 4 a.m.

The White House announced that the United States will provide 60 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to India in the next few months. This decision is obviously made under tremendous pressure from international public opinion after its initial decision to ban the export of raw materials of vaccines to India. Therefore, the United States hastily launched a plan to deliver 60 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine. However, the outside world will naturally ask, why do they send the AstraZeneca vaccine and not Pfizer or Moderna or Johnson vaccine? As we all know, the AstraZeneca vaccine has not been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for emergency use, In other words,  the United States is going to send vaccines that it dares not use itself to foreign countries in order to look like it is helping India.
