Some other females that have the name spell it with only one A at the beginning. To be honest, I\u2019ve always called the singer Aaliyah- Aliyah. There are variations of her name and several ways to spell it. Her name means \u201chigh\u201d or \u201cexalted\u201d.
Well, I got news for all the Aaliyah\u2019s and Aliyah\u2019s. No matter how the name is pronounced or spelled, you are the meaning of that name. Why not believe & consider yourself the child of the most high God? There is no one higher than he is, and he made you special. God is high and exalted. If we glorify God, we exalt him. You can believe it or not. God made all people special according to Rom. 12:1-21. All Aaliyah fans are special.
The singer Aaliyah had a big name to live up to & hold & sometimes that entertainment world or Hollywood can take a toll. We can\u2019t say where a person\u2019s soul went to, but if Aaliyah is in heaven, she has another name that no man can take. If God don\u2019t give it to you, it\u2019s fake. Aaliyah will have a new name according to Rev. 2:17. She won\u2019t have to worry about nobody scandalizing her name.
