Good evening everyone! You have been listening to some radio history about the REV105. There will be more episodes later on in the podcast. But today, I'm going to talk about someone else in radio history. Her name is GLADYS 'GEE GEE' HILL on KCOH-AM 1430 Houston.

According to archive.org, the station, the first black -oriented radio station in Texas, started in 1953 as "sunup to sundown" broadcaster bringing a mixture of talk, R&B, zydeco, gospel, and more from the 1430 spot on the dial, twenty four hours a day. And now, I'm going to play some of Glady's "Gee Gee" Hills radio broadcast from 1970 .....
