Hello! Today I\u2019m going to talk about Whitney Houston\u2019s mom on the Whitney Soul Podcast. Ms. Cissy Houston you know was the mom of Whitney Houston. She taught Whitney how to sing. Sounds like Ms. Houston took some time out for Whitney and taught her how to do a good thing.

Whitney Houston\u2019s mom was also a singer. There is one song I heard her mom sing on record the other day that put tears in my eyes. It was Elton John\u2019s \u201cYour Song\u201d. You might be more familiar with the way Elton John sings it.

But , you know Ms. Houston had her way of singing it. She had a church style way of singing it. I can\u2019t sing it the way Ms. Houston sings it, and I can\u2019t play it the way the musicians play it, but it goes something like this to give you an idea.
