Ash fights the party in his half-drunken state. They leave him behind as they flee to a safer hiding place with Lord Shimoda. Then Leila and Cor interrogate one of the foreign spies. They learn the names of some of the conspirators and share them with the Craftsmen. Ser Selwyn, Cor and Ash prepare to go hunt down the foreign spies with the rest of the Craftsmen. The spies have been caught unawares but now know they are being hunted.
