John \u2018Jughead\u2019 Pierson is probably best known as a founding member and driving force of Screeching Weasel up through the beginning of the 21st century. These days, he\u2019s well into the triple digits of his long-running podcast, Jughead\u2019s Basement. We talk about his approach to, and experience with, podcasting and dig into Screeching Weasel history as we eat outside King\u2019s Gyros (5233 N. Milwaukee Avenue) in Chicago. They\u2019ve been serving \u201cRoyally Delicious\u201d food since 1972, and I can\u2019t say for certain, but I may have found one of their royal hairs in my sandwich.
