Speaking on Business: PPE Resources for Small Business

This is Derek Miller Speaking on Business. As we reactivate the economy and businesses reopen, a critical need will be to obtain personal protective equipment – or PPEs – to keep employees safe while at work. Using protective personal equipment will help safeguard coworkers and customers, allowing businesses – and Utah as a whole -- to engage economically. To support small businesses with this objective, the State of Utah is temporarily offering free PPE Push Packs. These packages will include masks, hand sanitizer, gloves and other items while supplies last. This startup PPE Push Pack is intended for those small businesses with less than 50 employees who may lack the requisite initial supply to reactivate their business. The Push Packs can be collected in each county or requested by going to coronavirus.utah.gov. Simply go to the business page and scroll down to Utah PPE resources. For larger businesses, or those who need to procure more than an initial package, the state has provided a Utah vendor list to source products. The state list is also located at coronavirus.utah.gov. Make sure you’re protected when you open your business. Get a Personal Protective Equipment Push Pack for you or your employee. If you need more for your workforce or on-site visitors check the list of locally sourced vendors. You can find both at coronavirus.utah.gov.
