It was founded in 1997, and since then over 100,000 Utahns have participated in its efforts. President and CEO Ari Bruening explains their vision.\\n\\nARI BRUENING\\n\\nUtah is growing because it\\u2019s a great place to live \\u2014 a great economy, unmatched outdoors, family-friendly communities. Those who grow up here often choose to stay, and out-of-staters want to join us. Unless we want to give up the things that make Utah great, we\\u2019re going to keep growing. \\n\\nSo, the question we have to ask is how should we accommodate growth to preserve the things we love. \\n\\nWe know a lot of the right answers. We need more housing in every community. We need great transportation and cleaner cars. We need to continue to use less water, invest in teachers, and prepare for disasters.\\n\\nWe also need Utahns everywhere to be part of creating a bright future. Growth will bring challenges, but if we\\u2019re all working together to find solutions, Utah will continue to be a beautiful, prosperous, safe, and neighborly place for all of us.\\n\\nDEREK MILLER\\n\\nEnvision Utah is a great example of the collaborative spirit we see in Utah.
