Small Business: A Look Into Joining the Backbone of the Economy

Since 1963, the United States has recognized small businesses and their impact on American culture and economy. The month of May aims to honor our nation’s 28 million small businesses and the amazing people who run them. In this episode of Building Utah, we take a look at small businesses with Ann Marie Wallace, Executive Director of the Women’s Business Center. We discuss such things as why small businesses are so important, how the Women’s Business Center helps new entrepreneurs and what it’s like to start a small business. We also talk about the characteristics that help new entrepreneurs to be successful.
