It’s Not What You Do, It's How You Do it

In this episode of The Building Freedom podcast, Randy shares a story of a client of his that was able to add an extra $65,000 to an estimate because he finally understood the true costs associated with his business. His proposal ended up still getting accepted which means he is actually going to make a profit off this job.

Randy then goes on to talk about the concept of, “it's not what you do in the business, it’s how you do it”, this quote refers to all the aspects of running the business aside from getting the work done in the field. Most contractors get sucked into the day-to-day urgency of getting the work done and never stop to work on the business and take it to the next level. Randy closes by going over the 7 fundamentals that have to occur to achieve success in your business.
