OMI\u200b established himself as an international artist to watch through a string of viral releases, including his world-renowned single \u201c\u200bCheerleader\u200b,\u201d which spent six non-consecutive weeks at \u200bNo. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart\u200b, went\u200b 5x Platinum\u200b, and garnered over 4 million Spotify weekly streams. The music video for the \u200bFelix Jaehn\u200b remix alone has accumulated almost 9\u200b50 million YouTube streams\u200b to date, numbers comparable to those of international superstars.

He\u2019s performed on \u200bThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,\u200b \u200bGood Morning America\u200b, a\u200bnd \u200bAmerica\u2019s Got Talent\u200b \u200b\u2014 and that\u2019s just in the U.S. The worldwide success of \u201cCheerleader\u201d\u200b earned \u200bOMI \u200bcollaborations with \u200bThe Vamps\u200b ("\u200bI Found a Girl\u200b"),\u200b Shaggy \u200b("Seasons\u200b"), and \u200bMarcus & Martinus\u200b ("\u200bNever\u200b") in the years that followed.

In 2018, he reunited with German producer \u200bFelix Jaehn\u200b for their single "\u200bMasterpiece\u200b," which has accumulated 36+ million streams on Spotify. The uptempo, summery track encourages women to find beauty in themselves as they are, in a digital age that often pushes the other way.

In the years that have passed since releasing \u201c\u200bCheerleader\u200b\u201d and his debut full-length album \u2018\u200bMe 4 U\u200b,\u2019 OMI has recharged his body, mind, and soul by spending time with family in Jamaica. He\u2019s also been honing in on his craft \u2014growing as a singer, songwriter, and performer.

Now, he\u2019s ready to begin his next chapter. OMI is pleased to release this second look off his upcoming album \u2014 a project that will fuse elements of Pop, Reggae, and Dancehall and showcase.
