Congratulations to\xa0Amythyst Kiah, who has earned three\xa02021 Americana Music Award nominations. She\u2019s nominated for\xa0Emerging Act of the Year\xa0and\xa0Song of the Year, for the solo rendition of her Grammy-nominated song \u201cBlack Myself.\u201d Amythyst is also nominated for\xa0Duo/Group of the Year\xa0as part of the all-women-of-color supergroup, Our Native Daughters. She joins Jason Isbell and Valerie June as the most-nominated artists this year.
Amythyst\u2019s solo rendition of \u201cBlack Myself\u201d was previously hailed by\xa0The New York Times,\xa0Rolling Stone,\xa0MTV,\xa0BET,\xa0Billboard, and\xa0NPR\xa0who called it a \u201cbreakthrough for an artist on the rise.\u201d She performed the song on\xa0Jimmy Kimmel Live\xa0earlier this month, watch\xa0HERE.
