LA-based artist\xa0sad alex\xa0has unveiled her new EP,\xa0\u2018crydancing\u2019, out now on\xa0Red Bull Records. A \u201cmixtape of mixed emotions\u201d featuring seven tracks that showcase all sides of the rising singer-songwriter,\xa0\u2018crydancing\u2019\xa0features a handful of recently released singles and several new tracks previously teased via Alex\u2019s\xa0TikTok page.
Kicking off proceedings is\xa0\u2018until\u2019, driven by piano chords and electro-pop production, which finds\xa0sad alex\xa0reflecting on memories from previous lovers. Then there is the\xa0\u2018one that got away\u2019, a collaboration with\xa0mike.\xa0that details the feelings of regret and \u2018what if?\u2019 that comes with the potential of a past relationship that never fully came to fruition. Initially released to coincide with Valentine\u2019s Day,\xa0\u2018dating myself\u2019\xa0is an up-tempo track that embraces the art of self-care, exploring the empowerment behind falling in love with yourself, while the playful\xa0\u2018ibtc (remix)\u2019\xa0sees her team up with St Louis-born rapper\xa0MILES\xa0on a rework of her viral TikTok hit that saw millions of plays earlier this year.

Next up are the enchanting\xa0\u2018come over\u2019\xa0and infectious title track\xa0\u2018crydancing\u2019, the EP\u2019s two newest singles, before things are closed out with the delicate piano chords of \u2018california queen\u2019, a track that ensures things finish on a melancholic note.
Her largest body of work to date,\xa0\u2018crydancing\u2019\xa0is\xa0sad alex\xa0at her most candid and introspective.
