In this episode, Korey is joined by Rob Maccabe and Alex Burgoyne to talk about community outreach and how to best support our neighbors in this crazy world of COVID.  Among other things, we also learn about the origin story of New Basics Brass Band, their first gig opening up for THE DIRTY DOZEN BRASS BAND, and what it was like bringing New Orleans brass band music to central Ohio over 20 years ago. 

Rob is the bandleader and founding member of Central Ohio's New Basics Brass Band! Alex is a co-author of JazzColumbus.com and is currently the saxophonist for NBBB.
