S2E5- A look back on St Pat's and our year in review....What a year it was

Published: March 16, 2021, 11:04 p.m.

Rather than the binge drinking, amateur drunk night that is normally an American St. Patrick\u2019s Day, the studio is treated like a true pub where days gone by and hopes for the future are discussed.  Bryan and Matt are joined by Sarah to relax into some red beers and chat about the upending of the industry on this day a year ago, how things have adapted, what they see moving forward and discuss their wish list of travel destinations for the coming year.Dublin Drop

Smithwick's - 10:00

\n

\xb7  With a refreshingly balanced taste, this is a blend of mild hops, sweet malt, and roasted barley. The gentle bitterness of the hops is perfectly complemented by the sweet, malty notes.

\n

Adnam's - Broadside - 31:50

\n

\xb7  Broadside is a dark ruby red beer rich in fruitcake aromas, almonds and conserved fruit.

\n

Lion Bridge Brewing - Olde No. 17 - 41:00

\n

\xb7  The official beer of the Cedar Rapids St. Patrick's Day Parade Society (SaPaDaPaSo), and originally brewed to commemorate its 40th anniversary. This is the classic pub stout you know and love with a twist; 100 lbs of organic mashed potatoes were added during the brew to increase the dryness and slightly boost the alcohol. Roasty, with hints of dark chocolate, nuttiness and rich creamy mouthfeel.
