While the rest of the techno world may be more familiar with other artists from Minneapolis, in the city itself\xa0Centrific\xa0is considered one of the godfathers. \xa0He has been DJing in Minneapolis and around the Midwest for nearly two decades, and has been throwing some of Minneapolis\u2019 best events with various collaborators under the name Intellephunk for over 15 years. \xa0He is just as likely to be seen up front dancing in front of the speakers as he is behind the decks himself.
\nAs a DJ, Centrific can be called upon in many situations, whether it be darker warehouse techno at one of his Intellephunk showcases, or deep funky tech house at his open air Communion Sundays events. \xa0As a producer,\xa0Centrific\xa0has released his music on Drop Bass,\xa0Aphrodisio, Communique Records,\xa0Dustin Zahn’s label\xa0Enemy Records, and most recently his original mix “U Pod”\xa0on\xa0EDEC.
