It’s Halloween and we couldn’t be more excited about this week’s podcast, a live set from Derek Michael\xa0(aka DM)\xa0. \xa0Now residing in Los Angeles, Derek is originally a Windsor, Ontario native and a long time friend to the crew at Blank Code. \xa0Derek Micheal\xa0has established himself as one of Canada’s premier DJ acts, holding residencies at some of the world’s most prestigious venues such as Club Tresor (Berlin) and Tokyo’s Club Core. \xa0Since 1996, Derek Micheal has consistently incorporated influences from the bizarre to the sublime. \xa0His studio tracks have been released through Hor-Zu, Sender and most recently, on Detroit Underground Records. \xa0The tracks reflect Michael\u2019s deep knowledge and vast historical understanding of Western musical practice. A knowledge which he has consistently shared with audiences around the world.
